Child Care Centre at the refugee camp in Mae Hong Son

Khiri Reach supports the Child Care Centre, just outside of Mae Hong Son, in the remote Northwest of Thailand near the Myanmar border. The Centre, located in a Karenni refugee zone, is a small safe house for stateless orphans and disadvantaged children.

Lights to the Community, Laos

The "Lights to the community" project aims to install solar powered lights in Laos' remote villages. These villages are sometimes kilometres off the main power line of the state and can therefore not get any electricity at all.

Luang Prabang Orphanage, Northern Laos

The Luang Prabang Orphanage School is located just 5 kilometers outside of the historic UNESCO World Heritage site. The combined school and orphanage was founded in 1986 but it not very well know. Close to 500 children here are in constant need of bare essentials.

School near Tad Fane, Southern Laos

The village of Ban Lak 38, named after its location 38 kilometers out of Pakse in South Laos, sees its fair share of tourists passing through. They all flock here to see the impressive twin waterfalls of Tad Fane. However, few tourists stop by the village, or its school.

Special People Foundation, Thailand

There are 1.2 million people with disabilities in Thailand. The Special People Foundation (SPF) in Chiang Mai aims to give them viable work which helps their daily survival and their self esteem. From its inception in 2006 SPF has helped over 500 special people from North to South Thailand.
